CURRENT OPENINGS:

  • SCA is looking to add a full-time member to our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced client services professional that strives to make a difference in clients’ financial futures. You will be responsible for developing and servicing your client base. SCA will provide the tools, budget, platforms, and products necessary for success. This individual must have a strong knowledge of financial markets, superior relationship building and communication skills, and must understand the importance of providing high-touch, customized client servicing. The position, for the time being, is remote but the individual will be expected to attend in-person meetings. If the applicant is not local to Buffalo, but has an existing book of business or a proven track record then we would still be interested.

    Responsibilities:

    • Meet with existing clients and keep in contact on a frequent basis to ensure their financial needs/goals have not changed. Understand the client’s needs, goals, and objectives as well as develop relationships with interested parties of the client, either professional (attorney/accountant) or other family members.

    • Effectively communicate investment strategies, performance, and portfolio positioning to prospective and existing clients.

    • Develop and foster new client leads as well as relationships with Centers of Influence.

    • Retain a minimum of 95% of serviced client assets on an annual basis.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

    • Proven track record of successful business development.

    • Understanding of financial markets.

    • Existing book of business preferred.

    • Familiarity with CRM software.

    • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office software and financial planning software

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    • Strong client retention skills and a client-first approach to work is imperative.

    • Holds or currently pursuing the CFP® designation, preferred but not required.

    • Self-starter/entrepreneur with the ability to attract new business opportunities.

    • Must have the ability to work in a team setting.
